What is the area of a hall & volume of hall? | TIRLA ACADEMY

We find the area of halls, rooms, floors, etc. to know the number of tiles we need or for any other reasons. Here we are discussing what is the area of a hall and the volume of the hall?

The area of the hall may be in various geometrical shapes such as square, rectangle, triangle, trapezium, etc.

But generally, we prefer square or rectangular shapes for the hall. Let's discuss some formulas to find the area of the hall.

Area of HALL

The area of the hall is the region or surface enclosed between its boundary.

If the shape of the hall is square so its area of a hall will be-

Area of square Hall = (Side of the hall) * (Side of the hall)

If the shape of the hall is a rectangle so the hall area will be-

Area of rectangular Hall = (Length of Hall) * (Breadth of Hall)

Volume of Hall

The volume of the hall is the space covered by the product of length, width, and height of the hall.

Usually, the shape of the hall is cubical or cuboidal. Let's discuss the formula to find the volume of the hall.

If the hall is rectangular shape so the hall volume will be-

The volume of the rectangular hall = Length*Breadth*Height

If the hall is in cubical shape so its volume will be-

The volume of the square hall = Edge*Edge*Edge
